In Florida can anyone garnish wages?

I was wondering if this was the case and also, is my spouse responsible for my CC debt. She is not a cosigner and all debts are in my name Thanks

No, your wife cannot be garnished for your debts.

your debts are your debts. they cannot come after your wife or

your debts are your debts. they cannot come after your wife or file judgements against her if they are in your name only. they can only come after you for your debts and vice versa

assuming it is a LONG standing Bank account in her name PRIOR to

assuming it is a LONG standing Bank account in her name PRIOR to debt issues of mine, and in NO WAY procured for the purposes of Judgement adversion. Can they persue/garnish funds $ in HER Bank accounts if seperate from Mine? Im in FL. Thank you.

as far as i know they dont garnish bank accounts but wages only.

Seize, Freeze, Lein or put a hold upon after Judgement against MYself accordingly, would be more appropriately phrased. Thank you once again
