Gambling debts and CC charges for it

Can I charge back any gambling charges I made on my CC card? I tried to do that and they gave me a temporary credit. I made the mistake of faxing my info and copy of card to the site where I was playing, and the CC company wrote me back and said, according to documented records to a " Service Establishment" you released your account number to them and you give them permission to charge your card for each transaction" Now I do admit that I made these charges and have now stopped gambling with the help of GA. But from what I know and it not much, shouldnt CC companies not be processing these gambling charges under the Unlawful gambling act of 2006? No matter whether I am in the wrong or not, is it justifiable that they can process these. The statement reads for every charge, "online gaming" no names of site I used or processer...
I got nothing for you on this. Hopefully someone will be along

It sound like to me you went to some online gambling sites and now you are really wishing you didn't and you're hoping to get the charges reversed. All I can say is you cant get it reversed since you agreed to it.
I don't know the laws regarding gambling sites.
Maybe someone else will come along that can help.
If you company finds out you may be facing legal charges :?
