I have a few accounts that hit my credit each month. They are collection accounts or charge offs (some of the charge offs and the collection ones are hitting me each month for the SAME act, like it was sold or something but they are both reporting it each month)

basically Im wondering if I pay everything ontime NOW like the one CC i Have and my student loan and some other stuff willl my credit slowly start going up? OR will It continue to go down since these collection companies are reporting not payed EVERY month.

Thanks for the help.

So basically Im asking to Verify all the data fields... not just the dofd? sounds good to me... I would not be lying if i told them i did not remember opening the account in question. I really dont. So I could simply state:

"I am unsure if this account is mine. I DO NOT recall any of the details about said act. So can you please verify ALL the information being reported on it?"

something like above????

Lets say I dispute the verify and keep reporting it unpaid each month.... Lets just say i did nothing but pay on time what i have open....and did not do anything with the collections but wait for them to fall off.... Willl my score get worse and worse each month that they report the unpaid collections? I guess im asking does it hurt u off the bat when they FIRST report it then KEEP driving your score down each month that they report it.

Pay on what i have open. ( 1CC in good standing - 1 student loan in good standing - 2 other charge acts in good standing)

let collections fall off....... what happens to my score each month????

You can negotiate a pay for delete with the company. Communicate with them in writing. There is a form letter on here for this. Offer to pay a percentage of what they say you owe....in return, they agree to delete it from your credit report. And make sure that they say delete. Sometimes the letter you get in return will say they agree to update your credit report. This is different. You want to make sure they agree to delete it.
