Thanks for posting this amusing, but very false, claim. Debt is not a criminal matter and the fact that you came here and made this Guest post just cements that even more solidly. yeah and i was one of 'em.....they try to be threatening with the name of their company and such....so there's no validity to what they're saying - that we can be prosecuted for fraud and theft? cuz that's what they're claiming....

They were calling me yesterday & never could say who I owed...I gave them the # to my local FBI office to let them work with them to "come & get me". The caller HU very quickly. There has been some strange #'s calling today but i do not answer the phone.

Special Agent:
1. by your writing style it is unlikley you are not a native speaker of English.
2. What additional action can be taken beyond criminal?
3. Costing my job is solely the discretion of my employer.
4. If you are legit, why can't you be googled.

5. Most of all to truely help out all of the people post a real and verifiable address on this site with conact information so that those who have gotten your calls can reach your company.

Perhaps the forum owners should consider an IP trace and forwarding on the information to the federal authorities--this person came on here as "special agent", which is a term that specifically links someone to the FBI. Last I knew it was still a criminal offense to impersonate a law emforcement officer.

Is it a criminal offence to impersonate the District Attorney too? the reason i ask is because i think i got a call from a c/a posing to be our local DA

Special Agent, if your company is so "well respected", why can't I find you when I do a simple Google search. I get a TON of hits for the FBI; however, last I checked, the FBI was not in the business of collections.
