Judgement and bank account

I have a judgment against me in PA for Discover Card. The law firm is Weltman, Weinburg, and Reis. my question is how does a law firm find out about you bank information to file a writ of execution? And how can you protect yourself.

They basically send letters and copies of the judgement to all the banks in your area....in most cases they eventually get a hit.
Can they go after a joint account if judgment is for just me? C
Can they go after a joint account if judgment is for just me? Can I protect myself? How often after a judgment is won do they go after the account?
