ok, so i need some info on the following companies / and what the maryland laws are for them:

outback bucks
payday loan yes
e-payday loan
ameriloan
500fast cash
cashnet usa
eastside lenders
3b payday loans

i borrowed from some of them recently, and some of them in the past. i have since changed my checking account information, and they are now calling and sending me e-mails me all the time. they have started calling my place of employment asking to speak with my supervisor. i had one from e-pdl tell me that the were going to list the account as fraud status on my credit report. i originally changed my account information because i was dealing with progressive debt relief, but the fees they were charging were just as bad as the loan companies, and i was told by them that the companies would no longer contact me, well that didn't happen. currently i'm out of work for on medical leave but will return in a couple of weeks, and i know that some of the companies are still calling my employer. i want to handle this situation, but i need to know the steps to take so that they stop calling my job. also, i have to be able to live while making the payments to them. any info/advise would be great. thanks

Hi Krisq
Can you tell me how much you owe and how much have you already paid to the payday loan companies? This is because, as far as I know, payday lending is illegal in the state of Maryland and so you need to pay only the principle amount to these payday loan companies. If the payday loan companies still disturb you, you can file a complaint with the Maryland Commissioner of Financial Regulation.

File your Complaint and get Information

ok, so here's what i pulled from the loan co websites.....

borrowed w/finance new balance

500 FC 400 520 775
CNU 500 630.75 656.98
Eastside Lenders 300 390 415
PDloanyes 350 455 590
EPDloans 350 455 unk
Outback Bucks 200 260 unk

and then there is Outback Bucks, which i did fill out an application but never signed anything agreeing to the loan. i have conflicting e-mails from the all about a min apart. saying that my app is incomplete, that it is being withdrawn, and then that i have been approved. so this one i don't know what to do with.

Also. i did notice on the CNU website when i pulled up my account that they charge a CSO interest of $6.98 and the interest for the loan is 681.79%.
