Does anyone have any experience with this company?

An F rating with the BBB is undeserved. They only have 1 complaint which was resolved and they get an F. Thats retarded. TASC has an interesting article about the biased BBB rating system towards the entire debt settlement industry. Ripoffreport . com has a great article about how the owner "Bill Mitchell" of the Southland BBB branch rates settlement companies in that area negatively because he is a former board member of SpringBoard Credit Counseling , a competitor to the settlement industry.

FYI : US Debt Settlement is a Member of TASC.

in my opinion, even if they are helping a little its better than nothing at all. I would cant understand why no one would use these useful tools like the tasc, usoba, and the bbb. I know the bbb right now appears to be corrupt, but it still can be used as a useful tool by checking the complaints to see if they are resolved or satisfied this is key and what is important. I know most people see that rating and run which is bad for the settlement companies, but if they look beyond that it still can be used if people would take that extra 2 minutes to see the complaints and you should be able to get a good idea about the company. the important thing is that all complaints are resolved which means they did as promised. use these companies like the tasc and usoba for information. even if they only help a little in my opinion its better than choosing a fly by night company that is not members of these types of consumer protection places.
