I am looking for a reputable company that does credit repair and I came across a company called "Credit Assistance Network". I am very sketchy when it comes services I find online. I don't want to get scammed so I am just curious if anyone has heard of them before committing.

Hi Alfalf
Most credit repair companies are scams and it is very difficult to identify them. So I think that you should repair your credit by yourself. Even if you go through the FTC website, you will find that they also recommends you to do it yourself because you can do whatever the repair companies will do for you. Moreover, no repair agencies can remove correct and timely information from your report as most of them promise.

Thanks for the reply SC. I was going to do it on my own because i know it is merely sending out letters to the credit bureaus. Anyone can do it but I have so much other stuff going on in my life right now and would rather pay for a service that keeps up with it. I can mow my yard but I would rather someone else take care of it. They make no promises which particularly stood out. I'm sure its not helping their sales.

Try looking them up with the Better Business Bureau, if they have complaints they are probably a scam. most credit repair companies have horrible bbb ratings or are not allowed to be members.

I read your thread and out of curiosity, I looked them up with the BBB and they have as great rating. Here is the link to their BBB report: Bbbsoutheastflorida . org/BusinessReport.aspx?CompanyID=26002487[/url]

They have a A rating and their record shows no complaints. I think thry are an OK company. I used Lexington law and they did a decent job by deleting several items over the course of 6 months. Their rating is very poor but i think because they r a big company they have a worser RATING.
