Whose responsible for judgments going on your credit report? Is it the court or the CA that got the judgment? I have one on my report that I was able to get dismissed(YAY) but the default judgment is still on my report with no mention of the dismissal. Does the judgment stay on or is it deleted since it was dismissed? And who do I contact to make the correction?

Hi Dutch
The creditor is responsible for the judgment in your credit report and get it updated since he has brought the default judgment against you. However, since the judgment has been vacated, you can send a copy of the document you received from the court to the credit bureaus and the bureaus will get it removed from your report.
