Debt validated...now what??

I sent pay to delete letters to a couple of debtors to see if they would remove some negative entries on our credit reports once we paid. One was to pay the balance in full and another was to make 3 payments. I know we owed on them, they're medical bills.
Instead, the debtors sent print-outs of the charges and validation letters. Is there anything else I can do to try to get them to delete?

i had good luck w/paying in full and disputing a few weeks later
i had good luck w/paying in full and disputing a few weeks later..they majically went away...but maybe i was just lucky..but they do not have to remove them if they are accurate..sorry..score killers!
