who is the bottomfeeder.they are making idle threats.they would need a court order to garnish.more details please like.

most of all don't worry.this is most likely a scam collector.even if they got a court order they couldn't garnish that fast.please answer the two questions.i can help further from there.

so this is actually cashland?if so then they can execute a wage assignment.to actually garnish they would need to take you to court.they can't take near that much.don't know about OHIO,but in IL the cap is 15% of income after all other deductions.i'm assuming this was a storefront right?

Wage assignment is voluntary and doesnt require a court order....you authorize it. However you can also revoke it too by sending them a revocation letter. Give one to your payroll deptartment too!

Wage assignments have to be revocable to be enforceable under federal law. I'm pretty sure that applies even if the borrower and lender are in the same state, but you should probably check with an attorney to be certain.
