i have had 3 medical collections disappear from my cr after i have paid and then disputed..why would they go away? are they allowed to post med collections legally??

I think that the seven year and six months listing period must be over on the debts and so they got removed as soon as you paid them off.

They likely were deleted because the data furnisher did not respond to your dispute. Did you file your dispute online?
