please clarify what you're talking about here - is this a payday loan, a credit card, or what? You mentioned Wal Mart, so it sounds like a credit card payment?
Please let us know what you're talking about here and we can help you out.
WAL MART TERMINATION
I felt like the loss prevention and store manager had no proof of any amount of money. She quickly added way to much x so many weeks. I kept trying to input the truth and it wasnt that much but she kept threatening criminal prosecution when i was telling the truth so now they want me to pay them an outrageous number which is like 200.00 more than i honestly should. I was just scared i didn't want to go to jail so i just kept agreeing with her. what should i do.
and this too
I really couldn't figure out why they would pay us out for our hours worked wouldn't accept any of the money to repay them and gave us this collection paper. Isn't that weird ....

I'm still not getting this either, Soaplady. Almost sounds like some sort of payday advance through the payroll department and it didn't get repaid?
Does Wal Mart even offer that sort of thing to their employees?
The long and short of it, barbie, is that you really need to explain the situation from the beginning if you want us to try and help you - instead of bits and pieces.

So,
From what I gathered from your post, since I do have some knowledge of Wal-Mart. The only way you would be dealing with Bennet Law and Wal-Mart, as well as their Loss Prevention Department is if you were an associate and you were fired for theft/embezzlement/stealing cash from registers, etc.
Bennett Law is their Restitution Department.
Wal-Mart wouldn't just pull you in and make you pay without any evidence. Prosecuting internal theft requires QUITE A BIT of investigation, re-investigation, double-checking, CCTV review and more. They are VERY THOROUGH on internal investigations.

To add to my previous post, Barbie, Wal-Mart is not going to just pull you in and make it up that you owe them money. My guess is that you were caught stealing money or merchandise, they investigated you, then interviewed you (most likely a district LP manager interviewed you, they had you sign a statement, and you were terminated for gross misconduct. I really think you should clarify yourself and state ALL the facts before posting on such a site. Wal-Mart doesn't go around making stuff up.
