Re Credit Card With Wife and Me

One more question:
Have a Chase Card---wife is main holder, my name was added as being able to use card. The card got outta hand and is now frozen at 20,000 and I arranged, for now, for a payment plan of 347.00 per month with 2% interest to pay it off (it will take many years).
Should I have instead tried for a lower settlement (problem is we just started falling off the wagon with payments last few months). And is there any way to get her name off the account so I could just go for bankruptcy? (I think i know the answer to that one..."no"---i don't want her credit destroyed cause of what was much more my debt.
I can prove my income has turned very south over the last 4-5 months---hers is not great but better. Already agreed to that deal re monthly payments but if there's a better idea, let me know.

Nope...the card was opened in her name so she cannot be removed.
