I would venture to say if they have a store location they are operating perfectly legal. I've never personally dealt with them, but keep checking back for more replies.

You may want to talk with the manager of the store where you took out your loan. I know TX laws are a little tricky because some are cso's (I think thats what there called) and TX laws about bad checks are not good for you either.
I had to have my check get returned to them NSF before I could do any type of payment arrangements with them. Then they only gave me so much time to pay it off then they sent it to a law firm and I had to pay the lawyer. So you may want to watch your step with the cash store.
