I received an e-mail from from tendollarpaydayloan.com, they accepted the offer I give them to pay-off the loan. Once they receive my payment I will be marked as paid. I sent a money order to the following address CSU LLC P.O. Box 9223 Colorado Springs Colorado 80932. I sent the payment by express mail so I will be sure they got it today. This way I get a signature and I can track it on-line. It is at the post office but no one pick it up yet.
I also received two collection letters from National Opportunities Unlimited (Itsmypayday.com). They sent me two different amounts to be paid. The collection agency collecting for them is NPA National Processing of America P.O. Box 7666 Shawnee Mission, KS 66207 (866)628-6190. I looked them up and could not find any information on them.
I also received a letter from a collection agency collecting for cashdirectexpress.com (GECC). The company collecting on their behalf is AAM Alliance Asset Management, Inc 330 Georgetown Square, Suite 104 Wood Dale, Illinois 60191. I could not find any information on this company either. What should I do next? Has anyone heard of these companies? I am going to send them a debt validation letter. Should I include the part about the credit reporting agencies? Do they report the loans to the credit bureaus?

I also have a cashdriectexpress loan that was turned over to Alliance Asset Management. I sent them a debt validation letter, which they received April 10 (CMRRR). I checked AAM and they are licensed to collect in my state, but in my letter I requested they provide me the license for Cash Direct Express to do business in my state (they aren't as far as I can tell). I figure if AAM is collecting on their behalf, they should know if it's a licensed entity before they push the issue. Haven't heard anything back from them yet. I'll keep you posted.

I sent a money order to tendollarpaydayloan for $150 so that I could be done with them they have not picked up the payment yet. I mailed the payment by express mail on May 5th and a notice was left on May 6th. They said that the payment had to be received by May 8th or all arrangements were off. They have not picked up my payment and they have five days to pick it up or it will be returned to me.

Both of these companies do business poorly. AAM is continually calling my place of employment to harass me. I've requested repeatedly for them to call me at home with no success. Today I faxed and mailed a debt validation letter. Would be interested to hear if anyone has had any luck with this?

I reported AAM to the BBB and have not received a phone call from them since. They sent a reply through the BBB that cashdirectexpress will accept my ofeer to pay back the principle. Now I am waiting for a debt validation letter so that I can get them out of my hair.

On May 15, 2009 I filed a complaint with the BBB on National Processing of America, who were collecting on behalf of NOU itsmypayday. On May 29 they responded by saying that they will no longer pursue payment on this account. The account is marked paid in full.

AAM sent me this response in reference to my BBB complaint:Contact Name and Title: Paul Edwards, President
Contact Phone: 6307601110 ext 204
Contact Email: pedwards@aamanagementinc.com
In an effort to resolve this amicably my client is willing to accept the unpaid principle of the loan to payoff off the account. Upon receipt of the payment the account will be marked paid in full.
I in turn asked for a letter of validation and the amount of the unpaid principle. They have until June 4th to reply to my rebuttal. So far two down and eight to go. It is not as crazy as I thought it would be so let's keep our finger crossed. Achloan refuses to work with me because they are governed by the laws of Wales and will only accept payments by debiting my checking account. The other seven I have not heard any thing from, right now it's just a waiting game.
