OK, so like many others who are here, i have found myself in a situation that I can believe. I have 7 PDLs who I now owe a total of $7,435.65. Can you believe that!

Anyways, I have closed my bank acount but one PDL hit and then the bank (Chase) open the accoun sfnt and paisd them. Eventually, the other PDLs hit. Chase has send these back NSF but charged me fines totaling approx 400.

Anyway, here are the PDFs with info. Thanks for any help you provide as to the legally of these.

ThinkCash is an installment loan. They are legal and the PDL laws do not apply.

Check n go is legal.

GECC is legal in some states and a member of CFSA but I did not find them on the TX license database.

I believe the rest are illegal except for maybe Cashnet. If is CashNetUSA then they are legal. If just Cashnet then they are ilegal.

Secure your account first and then send them letters stating they are illegal.

You only owe what you borrowed. Any fees or charges you have made apply to that amount.

You can find a sample letter here. Scroll to the 13th post to find it.

You need to change it to you information and state laws.

You can make payment arrangments with the legal lenders after your account is closed.

Thanks. I get those letter out today and contact the other lenders that are legal and figure out a payment schedule.
