credit bureau disputes no longer allowed online

i have quite a few collection accounts that were too old to be on cr and have been disputing them with tu online..everytime i did a dispute, something had been deleted. i have had 8 negs dleeted to this process within the last few months..anyway, when i tried just last week, tu will not allow me to complete the transaction over the net. i get the message that i can dispute by phone or mail...What's this about? Any ideas? Am i frivolous-when so many have been deleted previously?

I think that it may be an automated process where you are not allowed to dispute more than 8 times online, within a particular time frame, but I am not sure of that. As per FTC guidelines, you can dispute incorrect items any number of times and so you may dispute further by certified mail.
