Does anyone know if Zip 19, who I know is part of the Norway company out of Malta, do they have a U.S. Address as well. I am filing bankruptcy and need to know what address to put down for that purpose. Also, I just defaulted with Zip 19.com a couple days ago and have not heard from them yet. They have not tried contacting me yet as far as I can tell. How long do they wait to try to do anything through payroll? Do they first try to neogotiate for a couple of months? I wonder because I am filing my B.K. petition next week and need to know if my payroll will be safe until then. And since these are illegal companies to begin with, how can an illegal company even begin to do a legal action like wage assignments. If anyone reading this believes my payroll will be jeoprodized between now and next week, when I just defaulted on this, please advise me what to do. If you think I will be ok until then and can hold zip off for a while, please tell me what to do. Why haven't they contacted me yet. Why does their websight not reflect anything about my default yet when it should?
thank you

You can call them up at 1 877 947 1947 or email them at "customercare@zip19.com" and ask them for their US address. I too didn't find their US address. In order to garnish your payroll, they need to bring judgment against you which is not possible in just a week. Moreover if the lender is not licensed in your state, they cannot sue you.

Depends on the resident's state laws itself. If the state law only requires them to have a license in their home state then they can sue. For example Wisconsin only requires a lender to be licensed in their home state, lender does not have to be licensed in Wisconsin.

However Zip19 is and Illegal lender. You will not find them licensed anywhere.
