In actuality most people follow you to get you to follow them and sell you something! In this case it is payday loans. When someone follows me I use Tweetlater to automatically follow them! I can always block them later if they become obnoxious. I use Twitter to promote articles and my blog and in turn the ads contained there in!

Of course I realize this, I was just being facetious, ribbing you a little. lol :D

I also get lots of companies folowing me. It really is no big deal, just ignore them. Its like with everything else, just another place to advertise. I dont suppose its much different than the pdl places advertising on this forum. They just need to be ignored

I wrote an article called Escaping the Payday Loan Trap on Hub Pages and Google place PDL ads all over it. Nothing I could do!

In addition, we like to follow any one that is talking about cash advance or payday loans because it's important for us to know what people are talking about. In the case of Twitter, it's easy to find people that are talking about things that interest us no matter if it's positive or negative. The fact that we like to follow people who are talking about our industry is no big surprise and yes it goes back to the old saying that you need to keep your friends close, and enemies closers. Personally, I don't think anyone on the net is our enemy and we like to help everyone and everyone is entitle to their own opinion.

Wow, here I thought this was serious thread for a serious discussion, but it seems that it's more of punching board to take cheap jabs at people's jobs. Thanks so much for showing me the light and helping me to realize that the world will always have people in it that only see things from their point of view and cannot expand their minds pass it.
