Howard Sciff letter?

Hello,
Yesterday I recieved a collection notice from Howard Schiff. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this and if they sue? Its just a basic collection notice and is not a court summons. It was sent certified or even signed by anyone. Its just your basic collection notice. Normally this wouldnt freak me out so much, but since it says its from "Law Offices" it scared me. Does anyone know anything about this? Are they just another collection agency?

Howard Schiff is a law firm which specializes in collection services. If you have received the collection notice yesterday, you should send a DV letter within 30 days, by certified mail. Now, if they validate the debt, try to pay them off, else they might sue you and bring judgment against you to recover it.

I received a notice from them also. They wound up filing a judgement against me and now they are trying to pursue a wage garnishment. So if you can make a payment arrangement I would try or if your financial situation is real bad talk to an attorney.
