This forum has been a lifesaver and hopefully this is the last of my questions. I'm a perfectionist so I just want to cover all my bases! I've confirmed all 7 of mine are not licensed in Indiana. Of course they tell me they don't have to abide by Indiana Law.
I sent out the C & D letters and closed my bank account. 3 of the 7 compaines have contacted me since and will not settle. Only 1 of them I owe money on the principle and offered to pay such, the others owe me!

1. Do I file my complaint with the BBB & AG in my state or the state the PDL is in?

2. What are my next steps after my C & D letter that included my offer? I'm not going to answer their calls anymore, I did that one time and got no where. Should I send 1 more letter? Should I let the BBB or AG do the rest for me?

No you file a complaint through your state AG. As for the BBB complaint it is automaitc. Once you put the address for the PDL, it will automatically direct the BBB complaint to that companies region/division for processing.

In my experience, I just filed my complaints with both my AG and the BBB. Then I awaited responses from the companies. Once the calls and emails rolled in I replied by firing off my proposal letters. I did this everytime I was contacted by one of them. It was redundant, but it eventually worked

The 3 that wouldn't settle or at least the only 3 still hounding me are Nationwide in DE, Zip 19 not even in this country and Ameriloan out of OK which is the only one I owe money.
Thanks Cool Abyss for clearing that up for me. Just needed to know how to proceed. Plus some days I still second guess myself and worry about reprocussions. Thanks again!
