How can ca report wrong account?

I have learned a lot from this site, I have a decent Fico of 730 ,and i only have 1 negative account listed by [URL="http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/collection-agencies/afni.html"]AFNI[/URL] for an Alltell account, I sent them a DV letter, they sent me a statement , and i call them ,and i knew i have never had an alltell account , the SS# they have wasnt even mine.
My question if they have the wrong ss# and i know this is not my account, how can TU be reporting it on my credit report.

Dispute it with TU and let them know the account is not yours

Well this actually answers my own question. There is an account
Well this actually answers my own question. There is an account on Experian from Bank of America in 1995 and I have never had a credit card from them in my life.
