I was using PDR for my old PDL's, 3 storefronts and 3 internet. The internet ones ARE illegal in MS but when I tried to bring that up the lady at Progressive she starts saying oh no there not I want you to pay these off because I've seen what they can do to people. Now, I hardly think that every single person on this forum is wrong and she is right. I think it was more of she wanted to get the money. But whatever. ANYWAY I have heard very little from CAs on the illegal PDL's. Just a few phone calls and letters at first and then they went away. Keep in mind, I extremely overpaid due to fees and such.

The three storefronts however, have continued to send letters and stuff. Two of three are CFSA, and the other seems like they would be willing to accept a EPP. I looked at my account on Progressive's website- I knew their fees were high but out ofa $233 payment, only $5.95 went to my account. The rest was in fees. That's CRAZY!!!!! So do you think I should cancel Progressive and just try to set up a EPP with the storefronts? I think the internet ones will leave me alone. Let me know what you think!

They are:
Magnum Cash Advance
123Cashnet
The storefronts are legal. I'm in MS and I'm pretty sure that the internet ones are illegal. Of course I'm back in this mess with other internet companies-
City View Cash
United Cash loans
Greenlight Funding
payment direct
E Payday Loan
Payday Loan Yes
Check n GO online
I feel like such an idiot for letting this happen again. I"m talking to the bank mgr on Saturday to see what I can do. Hopefully I can get those resolved on my own and be free of this mess! I'm 25 years old and I'm in a terrible mess with everything. I printed out my credit report yesterday and it's HORRIBLE! Im so embarrased! But this board has given me hope that I CAN make it better. Thanks everyone! :)

i used progressive for a few months then i cancelld it, they basically took all the money i paid in. it was a waste of time and money, unless you follow through with the whole program. but in your situation if you have overpaid these illegal companies i would fight it. just hang in there and follow everyones advice and it will work out for you. good luck.
