My husband and I both each have 2 payday loans. We are paying almost $700 a month in charges alone to these companies. I realize this is of our own doing, and it is not the fault of the companies that we have borrowed from. However, we cannot afford to keep paying this. It is taking away from things that our family needs. Any advice in regards to what would happen if we did not pay these would be greatly appreciated. These are storefront loans at Checksmart, Cashland and Advance America. None of them are internet lenders. Any and all advice and/or info would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you : )

Have you talked with them to see if they will set up extended payment plans to help you pay them off without hurting you in the meantime? From I have read on this site, most of the storefronts will work with you - it is part of the regulations for them. Do a search on the site for the names and see what others have said about them.

I also have PDL's with these stores. Cashland is the one I am having trouble with. Lady from corporate is very nasty and told me they do not set up payment plans. I have signed up with T&C and hope they can help. I hope that PDL'S will be closed down in Ohio.
