Kingston Financial Question

My husband got a $200 loan from Kingston Financial 2 wks ago and we just paid back that plus the $89 fee this past Fri, so we are paid up in full. I just found out they were illegal and was wondering if anyone had big problems with them, like constant ACH debits every payday, etc. And if they do do this to us, how can i stop that from happening?

my wife just applied for a 200 loan the first payment is due this week. I sure hope nothing
bad comes out of this.
