Has anyone ever received a settlement from a John Deere Credit

Some Settlement companies are telling me yes I can settle these and others are saying no. I'm clueless One is for a lawnmower which is a credit card and so was the Honda which was for a 4-wheeler. Neither item we had to use collaterial.

The reason a lot of settlement companies are telling you no is because technically even though these are credit cards its also kind of a secured debt because they can still repo the 4 wheeler or lawn mower.

Thanks Mobile, that is what I was thinking also, but I've had so many settlement companies tell me "oh yes we can settle that" I am just having a hard time believing anything at this point. My phone is ringing with all of these settlement companies, I told them all I am 'THINKING" but they insist on calling me back the next day, LOL

I manage a settlement company and we don't enroll those type of cards for that very reason. I would reconsider doing business with a settlement company that would take these type of accounts. There are a lot of new settlement companies popping up over night that don't know what they are doing so be careful.
