Question on Credit Scores

I am currently working very hard to straighten my credit. I filed bankruptcy a while back and I understand that stays on and effects my credit for years to come. My question is, these accounts are still showing that I owe many thousands of dollars in the amount due column. If I dispute these to get the balances to zero will that help my credit score. Shouldn't they be zero amounts.

If the debts are included under bankruptcy, it should show as "included under bankruptcy" in your report and as $0 balance. You should definitely dispute the listing with the bureaus and correct it, but it may not improve your score.
