Allegra Law (First Consummer Debt Consolidation)

I have had an account with Allegra Law since Nov 08 and they have contacted all of my creditors and worked out a reduced interest rate, often 10 to 15 per cent less than what the CC company was charging me. I have have had no problems with the 10 accounts they handle with the exception of 1 and that problem is with the cc company not Allegra. I have asked and received proof of payment to the CC companies. I am constantly receiving correspondence each month from Allegra. Thus far I am ver satisfied.


Effective immediately, please cancel my account with your company. Do not withdraw the monthly pymt of $1163. from my account for the month of July, 2009. I have spoken to a representative and given them the notice of withdrawal. Thank you RV

Allegra law is a scam artist... They take your money and never pay your bills, and waste your money, just go to a real law firm and don't get ripped off like many of my clients!!

:-xI believe that I was with them until they were not paying my creditors just this past two months they went bankrupt! Did not notify anyone! That is wrong... so cancel everything with them now because they were still trying to debit my acct and not paying my creditors!

They took over $10K of our money and put us in such a bind. I never knew. They never sent any notice to our creditors. I didn't know until I was served with papers from 3 creditors who were suing me. Tried to get our money back and they conveniently filed bankruptcy and now my money is stuck with some mediator which I hope to get back. This is not a threat, this is a fact. If I do not get money back, I will certainly seek criminal charges against the CEO's of this company.
