Its been about 6 weeks since I closed my bank account. I have worked out payment plans with PayDayOne and CashDirectExpress. The payments are not as low as I would like but they said it was the best they could do. I am not 100% sure that I will be able to keep up with the payments but I am going to try. I got so far behind in my bills from these ipdl's I am still trying to get caught up.

LoanPointUSA has called a couple of times but I have'nt heard from them in about 10 days now. They refused to work with me on a payment plan.

PayDayMax/CreditProtectionDepot calls me once a day at almost exactly the same time everyday but has never left a message.

Sagamore I have yet to hear from.

Just thought I would post this for those starting the progress to let them know how I'm doing. If I can make it thru the next month with these payment plans I think I will have turned the corner and things will be alright.

No things still going along about the same. I am making my payments to the 2 who would work with me. The other 3 I have'nt heard from anymore. Well PayDayMax calls occasionally but they have never left a message and I have repeatedly sent them emails saying I will only communicate thru usmail or email.

For me (so far) this proces has been really easy. (except when I had to change bank accounts and ended up with about $200 in nsf fees while I could'nt "float" checks). A couple of years ago due to an accident and being unable to work I had to stop paying my credit cards and they were relentless, calling many, many times each day, screaming and yelling when I would talk with them, sending me mail several times a week. This has been like a walk in the park compared to that.

I just am hoping I can keep up with the payments over the next month. I am trying to pull a couple of double shifts at work this weekend. Does'nt help that we still have lots of medical bills (which is what got us into this mess in the first place). Right now I have a hospital breathing down my neck that they are going to file a lawsuit if we don't pay $2500 in the next 90 days...sigh...we pay $600 a month in medical insurance premiums yet are still buried in medical debt...but I digress...

Okay......so first day they've missed their payments ... Only communication so far (it's early!) is an automated email from eastside lenders saying my loan is "continued". HA! I can still check my old closed account online and THANKFULLY it is still at 0.00 balance.....I was scared something crazy would happen and they'd reopen and slam me with negatives for bounces.....even though assured closed.

I got kind of depressed yesterday reading some things online.....seeing people get calls from their police depts and contacts from collections years after they stopped paying - I want to get this over and finished. Hoping I can get agreements and PIF's so I can close the chapter on these and NEVER let myself be in this situation again. I worry about being sued or threatened with arrest 6 - 9 months from now.....Don't want to have that stress.

Have most of you who have used this process been able to feel confident about having them tied up and finished or do you always have that ping of dread with mail, unknown phone # on your phone showing up?
