Just received a call from Devin @Action Recovery. His number is 816-581-3740 x344. My hunch is this has to do with one of my payday loans. My search attempts only seem to relate to car repossessions, and fortunately, that isn't an issue I am going through. Has anyone heard of and/or dealt with Action Recovery in reagrds to collecting on an unpaid payday loan?

If your payday loans were paid (or at least the principal) and are illegal in your state i'd tell the collection agency to go fly a kite, and send them a C&D letter, reminding them that you paid the principal, and that they are not to contact you again regarding this matter.

If the loans were legal, then I'd suggest working with the orginal company on paying them off with a re-loadable debit card.
