I have several payday loans and from the following companies, I have been paying on these things which feels like forever. I recently fell into hardship and stop paying on them. Companies, I have loans through are all internet companies such as Outback Bucks, Midland Financial, JD Marketing, sps processing, Ashland Funding, b & l Marketing, summit group and star cash processing. Recently, I have run into this one collection company they claim their name to be (Jason, Reed, & Associates) where everyone has a heavy Indian accent they have threatened to have me arrested, file civil suit on me, sue, call my job and say that I am a bad check writer. When I hang up they have called back as many as 20 times in one day.
I have tried some of the tacts other people have tired on this website but these people are crazy what should I do.

Pay day loans are not legal in the state of Maryland. All you are obligated to repay is the principle amount borrowed. They will tell you they are legal in your state , but it is just to scare you into paying. No one can do anything to you. They are just trying to intimadate you into giving them money.
Dont let them scare you. Have you closed your account so they can not take any more.
If you have paid them more than borrowed let them know that they will not be getting any more.
Do not tell them anything until your account is closed
