I've managed to keep all of this trouble from my boyfriend (which hasn't been easy) I mean we live together and bank at the same bank so he's well aware of what the overdraft notices look like. Well he called me at work today and was very upset because he found out my account was overdrawn by $960...I don't know if he opened it by mistake or what. Anyway, he got really upset and I told him I didn't want to talk about it at work in front of everyone.

I texted him the (short) version of what happened. He just texted me back and said "You need to tell your dad you can't afford your car" I told him I was really sorry but I didn't want to worry him which is why I didn't tell him.

I'm so embarrased and upset right now...he hasn't responded except to maek the comment about the car. What should I do?

Nothing you can do,as it seems the cat is now out of the bag. Be honest with him and you may be surprised. he may be very supportive. A few members have gone thru this, and their husband / boyfriends although angry at first, came around and helped them.By help, I mean in some cases support.
