new to the payday loan thing :(

i hope im posting in the right area for my question >< I just recently moved to las vegas about a year ago (yeah, big mistake i know!). Once i got here i was staying with my family until i got my own place. well long story short, the landlord that they were renting from decided to sell the house and gave everyone a time limit, so i had to jump the gun a little and get a place fast. I have my own place and my rent is outrageous, 1100$ a month for an apartment that takes pets. i couldnt really find any other place that would take a dog over 25lbs so i got stuck with where im at now. (sorry for the personal info, just thought it would help out a little to explain the situation im in)
Well, i ended up getting involved in payday loans. I currently have 2, one with check-n-go for 610.00, the original amount being 500 borrowed but i have to pay 110 just in intrest if i decide to not pay the full amount of. The other one i have is from money tree and i think that one is about 400.00, the original amount borrowed being 350 (im pretty sure im wrong on the intrest amount, thats just a quite off the top of my head while im sitting here) and paying that one bi weekly with just the intrest is about 50$. So every 2 weeks im dishing out almost 200$ JUST on the intrest for these and im getting absolutely no where as far as eliminating them. My next check is pretty much going to rent and leaving me about 167 dollars leftover for gas. Out of that i have the payday loans and 2 other bills i need to pay and im a little stressed out because theres no way i can do it. Ive thought about applying for an online loan to just be able to pay the BOTH of them off and then have one solid payment rather than what ive got now and hope its more manageable, but i dont know if thats really the best thing for me to do.
Im open to whatever ideas anyone has, a lot of times i get so stressed and overthink the whole situation that i just get stuck and cant really see any possible way to fix it.
Have you thought about asking them for the EPP (Extended payment
Have you thought about asking them for the EPP (Extended payment plan)? Ask them if they offer an EPP, I'm pretty sure that check n go is a member of the CFSA which means they would offer it but only if you ask, and you must request it before you default. You can always ask Lending Tree if they offer an EPP plan.
I did some investigating and actually called to ask if they were
I did some investigating and actually called to ask if they were a part of the cfsa, and they stated that they were. Ive never defaulted on any of my loans, but this next paycheck i have no possible way of giving them the intrest.
I looked into PDL debt consolidation and im very hesitant on doing something like that, so im on the fence about going that route. I called my bank today (i bank through chase) and asked them that if i closed my account would these still be processed if they pushed them through, and the lady i spoke with told me yes and there was absolutley nothing they could do about it. I asked her about a hardhold on my account and she said that was only used in cases of fraud. So for the most part i got nowhere with that. I have already opened up a new bank account and plan on closing my other one on monday, then calling my loan centers and asking for an epp (they arent due until that next friday). If i actually enroll in the EPP will this stop these checks from debiting into my account? That is my biggest worry is that they will still push them through even after i set up the epp and force the account back open.
sorry, i keep popping up under guest, i forgot my password and i
sorry, i keep popping up under guest, i forgot my password and it still hasnt been sent to me yet ><
I try and read as MUCH as possibly on here that everyone posts and another question of mine is should i be sending letters like everyone else is doing? If i set up an EPP im not sure if they still need to be sent, or if once that is set up they just stop everything and wait on me to make my payments as arranged? Ive looked through a lot of the posts regaurding these letters but i dont quite remember which ones im needing to send if i need to send any at all. I sit on here for hours sometimes just jotting down notes and get myself lost in what stuff i need to do first.
Unfortunately, it sounds to me like your finances will not allow
Unfortunately, it sounds to me like your finances will not allow you to do an EPP. The $187 would jump to $259, but there would be an end in sight. This may be a time to buckle down and ask for help from a relative. Since they are both legal lenders, they do have recourse. You can also try calling the Corp Office and ask for some kind of payment plan through them.
I may have to do that. My family isnt the most supportive group
I may have to do that. My family isnt the most supportive group of people but its definately something i can try. I will probably still go in and ask what my options are as far as trying to set up some kind of payment agreement with them, i would much rather pay the 200$ MONTHLY than dishing out the 110$ just for intrest every single paycheck, it would actually save me money to do it in bigger chunks that way, and if its spread out over the duration of a month i think its something i could afford. Im planning on picking up a second part time job just to make sure im able to continue paying them. If they do arrange to set up a payment plan with me will this stop them from debiting my account? Thats my biggest concern. I plan on closing it on monday, but i dont want to have to worry about it being forced back open.

When you set up the EPP, they cannot cash your check or ACH your account. If you take the EPP, do not miss a payment and you will be fine. Not to mention that you 2 loans will be paid off in 4 paydays.
you guys really are amazing on here, i appreciate everyones inpu
you guys really are amazing on here, i appreciate everyones input. I dont think they have any managers working on the weekends so im probably going to go in monday and speak with someone. Im pretty sure money tree is a member of the cfsa, but i have to double check on it. That was my biggest concern was them still drafting my account after i was set up on an EPP, id have to have my account negative by a ridiculous amount on TOP of having these payday loans.
