They responded to my email and fax with this form email....
Call them or just respond to them with my same "stand" which is that based on all other loans I've had with them I've overpaid them $2265 since Jan. of 2008?

So do you call them back or answer or you just let it roll to voicemail.....I just want them to get picture that I"ve paid them almost $3000 in a year and I'm DONE and they need to just drop it and leave me alone!!! I don't want them calling my family and boss, though....Have they done that to you? Called your boss and family? references?

Surprised I haven't heard from them today.....I forwarded them FTC and BBB complaint #'s but Im sure it is just a matter of time.

? for community......I've had another loan with them and overpaid it by over $2000 (almost 3000.00!!!!) before paid off but had to take it out again like 3 weeks ago in the "trap" we all got ourselves into with multiple loans ($550.00 loan). My letter said I wanted a PIF based on amount I had overpaid on the other loans. Wondering if I should set up arrangement to pay back $550 since it was a new loan and ask for a refund of the overpayments on loans throughout all of 2008.

I want to be totally legal and above board - UNLIKE THEM!!!! I did NOT know they were illegal and had not found this site when I took out the loan and again I've overpaid them over 4X this last loan I had with them......

i heard from others here to apply what you overpaid on previous loans.almost 3,000.00 over paid.apply any refund to this and call it square.

Okay - that makes me feel better...I'm just getting jittery....Wondering if I'll even get one of these yoyo's to give me a PIF....much less the 5 I'm battling! I don't want to be battling collection agencies - worrying about getting sued for next 10 years.....I waver between setting up payment plans and giving them more money even though between all 5 with overpayments on loan or other loans I only owe 1 (VC Funding) $110.00!!!!

Between other 4 I've overpaid $6020 between end of 2007, all of 2008 and 2009 to present....makes me want to THROW UP....

well CA'S can't sue you.only the original creditor can and being illegal as these pdl's are.i don't see that happening.have you given your HR or payroll person a WAGE ASSIGNMENT REVOCATION letter yet?if not do that asap.while they cannot sue they can attempt to invoke that part.a wage assignment is voluntary.revoke that and they will not be able to do anything but call.

that is where validation comes in handy as there often is no papertrail when a JDB or CA buys a debt.a CA working on behalf of a creditor can recommend a lawsuit, but unless retained by an OC.they cannot sue.a JDB should be made to prove ownership.actual ownership.

not if they try to do it right.most JDB'S can't validate the debt in any form.that is why you see so many default judgements as they don't properly serve or don't serve at all on purpose.i'm hearing some stories on this site about people beating JDB'S in court.they just try to intimidate people then maybe sneak a default in there.never heard of one suing on the up and up and winning sorry.

if you filed the proper validation with the CA and AG complaints aainst AMERILOAN you covered your bases.again there is nothing they or any CA they employ can do to you but call.if they do continue to call file follow-ups with your AG.that should cover it.

again bring up the fact that they have no license and you overpaid.they have done this response before.it shows that they are monitoring this and other sites at times.

The saga continues......BBB closed the case as unresolved as of today when I checked.........Then Ameriloan sent me the Recovery website link crap...............Just for giggles I looked at their idea of payment plan.........Today 160 and 3 monthly payments of 180 or 2 payments of 321 dollars. They can kiss it................They owe me over $2000 when you take into consideration loans I overpaid them on. I'm so peeved. they have been the WORST to deal with - the worst as far as delusional about their business practices. VC Funding was nice via email and I've settled with them and one reason I did GFS $100 was because honestly they were beyond nice and understanding on the phone....and they did not hound or harass me at all. I'm down to 2 of the 6 that haven't either settled with or feel like we are close.....Ameriloan which is CRAZY and High Country which is unreachable. Even when you call?

I'm very dismayed about BBB closing the case with Ameriloan as unresolved. Any ideas on next steps is GREATLY appreciated. I sent recovery an email telling them they were illegal and I owed them 0, nothing, zip, zilch, nada .....

file AG complaints against the CA.they know AMERILOAN is illegal and will act illegaly to try and collect.this isn't the first time AMERILOAN got the BBB to close a file.just keep up on your complaints.
