201-234-4071 - Has anyone received a call from Patricia White?

I've received 2 messages with this call back number. Both times the woman left a message (she is yelling) and it is obvious she is calling from a call center. Her message is identical each time (like she is reading a script). When I call back the number I just get a busy signal. She is calling my work and a home phone number that I never use (I use my cell for everything). And the end of her speech, she tells me that if I don't call her back all she can do is wish me luck and my children good luck too. She called on our home phone yesterday. It is only used for in-coming calls and like I said I don't use that number. I figured it was a call for my daughter. I answered it like a pizza place as a joke and she was yelling that she needed to speak with Lisa...because someone was "stealing her personal information on the internet" this is the second time I have heard a company use that scam. Any suggestions?


I did a search on the number 201-234-4071 and it appears 2 people got calls yesterday from the same number. One person received a call from the lady Patricia White. They claimed to be lawyers (that worked on Memorial Day??) representing National Payday. I looked this up and they appear to be an online loan company. I have not had an online payday loan in over 6 years. And it was not with National Payday. The store loans I had 3-4 years ago also were not with National Payday. Weird.

Yeah it sounds like some sort of scam, probably these illegal lenders are selling personal information to other illegal companies. I suggest you report this and file complaints with your Attorney Generals office and the FTC. There is a link in my signature which will direct you to the FTC site.
