I am new to the forum and am considering Debt Free Associates, but they use Global Client Solutions and Rocky Mountain Bank and Trust which have a lot of negative consumer complaints. Does anyone know of a reputable company?

I have a lot of credit card debt over 100K, and am no longer sleeping because of financial anxiety. I am feeling pretty hopeless at this point and totally overwhelmed. This month will be the first month I miss my payments.

I have tried to settle with Chase, but they offered me 85% and I'm guessing that's because I haven't been delinquent in 13 years.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

The creditor agrees to settle your debt only if they consider it as a bad debt. Now, since you are regular with your payments till date, they will generally not agree to settle it. You need to be delinquent for a couple of months and then negotiate for debt settlement. You can either settle your debts yourself by negotiating with your creditor directly or register for a good debt settlement company.
