How Do I Stop A Wage Garnishment?????????

They would either have had to obtain a judgement against you or you signed a Voluntary Wage assingment when you took out the loan. If you signed a wage assignment, revoke it immediately. Send a copy to your Payroll/HR and a copy to Ameriloan.

Did you sign a voluntary wage assignment?

Yes I did. Since I did am I able to still revoke it?

Yes it was voluntary and revocable at any time. Get one to your payroll dept ASAP and fax one to Americash (follow up with another copy CMRRR)

Do I need to send the exact same one to payroll or should it be worded different from the one I send to Americash?

The one for payroll should cover any and all wage assingments with anyone. The one for Americash would be tailored to Americash and any other subsidiaries of Americash. I think there are several.

This letter is to notify you that I hereby revoke AmeriCash Loans or any other company from executing any Voluntary Wage Assignment without a legal judgment. I hereby revoke Americash Loans right to use the Voluntary wage assignment I have signed on February 27, 2009. They no longer have my permission to use this Voluntary wage assignment.

No problem. You're stressed, which is understandable. Nascar gave you great advice, and I would also add that you have a right to see a copy of whatever they sent to your employer--and I would do that ASAP.

I received a call from Americash Loans today. They received my letter to terminate the wage garnishments from my check. We set up a payment plan that I am satisfied with. Thank you all for your help and support.
