So I have closed my account, and faxed/ emailed my letters.

PDL Loan Center (High Country, RBT, Loan MGT Services)
So far I have recieved a phoen call from PDL Loan Center saying that they will take the remaining principal on my account but they have to have it within 3-5 days and it needs to be through a card or ACH (what? any legitimate business has a mailing address for payments) Small step..but not good enough. We will see how that works out, I'm going to send another fax reiterating what i wrote about the WRITTEN communication and tell them exactly when my payments will be mailed.

So Far US Fast Cash and Professional Debt Mediation (on behalf of Pay Day Max) hasn't gotten back to me. I assume they are preparing to do their worst. We will see...

do you have an email for PDL?I emailed them ....only got email from a Tawni saying that they were no longer handling my loan and gave me a number to call. I'm NOT calling them. Will fax again this evening but wanted to email. Tawni won't give me an email OR Fax. Found fax on this forum.....

Me too, Either they have ignored my faxes, or are biding their time. oh and just for everyone's information, PDL Loan Center, High Country, RBT whatever is now PDL Ventures. As we speak I just got an email from them about debiting my account on Friday... I assume by then they will start calling in in since the account is not even open which I've notified them of...twice. And i said I would make a payment today once they confirm receipt of my fax and acceptance of my terms, which they never did. If they want to make a game of it then that's the way its going to be. I'm going to send another fax today. I don't know who these people think they are but it's ridiculous.

No address, no payment!

HOWEVER..........I did get an email from GFS today (so now I've heard via email from Eastside lenders and GFS since Friday as well as Micheal from RBT with Special Offer on the phone) ---the automated Oops letter from Jess saying they saw my account was closed and to contact them. I responded to the returns@gfsil.com email address with my letter and FTC complaint #. I don't know what else to do?

Crap............how to respond?
East Side Lenders is responding to your correspondence regarding the above-captioned account.

East Side Lenders, which is located in Delaware, is licensed by the State of Delaware to make small loans. All such loans are approved and funded in Delaware, with repayment to be made in Delaware. The East Side Lenders loan agreement and website contain all disclosures required by Delaware and federal law and make it clear that all transactions are governed by Delaware law. On the advice of counsel, East Side Lenders maintains that the choice of Delaware law as controlling in the loan documents would be upheld, as all of the significant contacts in the loan transaction occur in Delaware. The loan agreement is legal and enforceable. In responding to your correspondence, East Side Lenders notes and reserves all available legal and equitable objections to the points you have raised.

East Side Lenders provided this service as a convenience to you. We still consider your loan to be outstanding and are prepared to go to arbitration as provided for in the Loan Agreement between us. As an alternative, if you are experiencing financial hardship, we will be happy to speak to you about payment arrangements through which you can successfully meet your payment obligations. East Side Lenders will consider doing so because of our continuing commitment to servicing our customers and not because of a legal obligation to do so.

Should you have any further questions regarding this matter, if you wish to speak about payment arrangements, please contact us at (800) 689-5603.

Sincerely,

Customer Service

Okay............so just sitting here in limbo still. Haven't heard anything from Ameriloan, GFS(GFSIL), PDL Loan Center or VC Funding.....a little shocked. The not hearing makes me worry more - I stress they might find a way to get my $ again but if that happens I should be able to get taken care of....worst case scenario? No response to BBB complaints except Ameriloan which I responded to THEIR response which was stupid and didn't address the issue......Anywhoo if anyone has any pointers in pushing getting PIF letters I'm open to suggestions.

Update........Even though GFS really owed me $ i caved for a one time settlement of $100 to be paid via money gram...they are suppossed to call me back with Money gram details. That is worth it to me to get PIF and not have to worry about calls to my boss, relatives or a collections to fight on my credit report. I consider it a WIN! thanks everyone on the board.....3 down, 3 to go.........

SO it has been a month and Professional Debt Mediators on behalf of Pay Day Max just called me. I faxed them the letter last month in regards to my debt and all of NYs legal jargon. I know that these people are going to try trickery and intimidation as they told me either myself or my "attorney" should contact them. Should I just speak with them and get a mailing address and send them another copy of the letter? I know that these people will call anyone and everyone that they can just to annoy me as they did this the first time.

As far as US Fast Cash is concerned I have heard nothing since my letter stating i should be PIF.

PDL Loan Center however keeps calling me and I just don't respond. I am thinking of calling them just to reiterate what I sent them in writing (4 times) and get an address or maybe pick up a prepaid card and pay them little by little from that. They simply refuse to give me an address!
