Deceased wife's credit card debt

Am I responsible for my wife's credit card debts? She died this past month and I am finding all kinds of credit card debt. I'm in California.

I know you should be able to do this on your own, but if this were me I would feel more comfortable talking to a lawyer about this. It can be tricky. It depends on if you were an auth. users, or joint account holder, If she had the extra insurance on it, I mean there are so many things that can come into play here and a lawyer (in my opinion) would know best.
But keep an eye out for more answers. There are some in here that could help answer your questions.
