i have a free online checking account with BofA for more then a year. I never use it have almost no money on it. I have a debit card for it. I had a 300 credit line with them in 2000 which I closed in 2003 but it is still on my credit files.
I need advice on whether to go for BofA secured credit card or Applied bank. thank you very much:)

check B of A's rates and fees.i have an applied bank card and it has helped improve my credit.the 9.99% interest is not bad and if you do use it responsibly it will help, but if you have had an account with B of A that might be good too.it's just that since they merged with WAMU they are kinda out there with there business practices.check with B of A first.just know that i endorse applied bank.

except for the 9.99% no there are no fees unless of course your late or go over the limit.
