I'm considering becoming a Freedom Debt Relief client and live in California. Would anyone be able to elaborate on the comment DS wrote on 5/12/09 about "the law suit affecting only CA clients?" How might it affect them?

They have been accused of increasing the debt of the customers through late fees imposed by creditors, instead of reducing the debt as claimed in their website.
