ARe there any credit cards for bad debt/rebuild credit that won't scam me with fees? Most credit cards advertised for "bad credit" have very low limits and huge fees. You end up with a card that has maybe $50 avalable credit and you end up paying back the fees instead of getting to use it. Worse yet, they never seem to increase the credit limit so you endlessly end up paying nothing but fees on the card.

I agree, try to do what desperatly suggested...go for a secured card. Those bad/rebuild credit type cards are crazy, like what you said you pay nothing but fees when you get the card. I ended up getting a couple myself and I was paying on the fees for about year..I just ended up closing them.
With the new CC laws, these fee loaded credit cards will go bye-
