Hi,

I don't know if this was mentioned here before but just in case...

Scott Hinz, of MarauderExposed, has filed a Class Action lawsuit against Experian for allowing and continuing to allow CPS/Maurader to place false information on Credit Reports, and Experian's stubborn refusal to remove the fraudulent information based simply on a non-acceptable "it's valid" note by CPS/Marauder. Budd Hibbs calls Maurader (dba CPS Investigations) America's Dumbest Collector. The class includes anyone that had their Credit Report from Experian with false debts by Marauder/CPS noted since June 7, 2007.

Check the case out:

Those of you who are upset because Experian stubbornly refuses to remove fraudulent information from their credit report should see about getting on this. In fact, I believe that the class should be extended from just CPS/Marauder to any other bottomfeeder liars that knowingly put fraudulent info on the credit report and Experian's unwillingness to listen to the victims.

It's about time, Experian is getting way too big for its britches and needs to be slapped - hard.

I recently disputed an item with the three credit bureaus. Transunion and Equifax deleted it, but Experian did not. I thought this was odd, but it seems other people are having issues with them as well. Not only did they not delete it, they said it was staying on there until 2013. That's also odd, because their site says items are removed 7 years after the first deliquency, which they are reporting as 09/03, which means the item should be removed 09/10. I am curious about other people's experience with experian.

A lot of people complain about Experian, especially when it comes to lying junk debt buyers trying to collect on an SOL account (for instance) and fraudulently re-aging it, etc., etc.

You can do a search on Experian in the Search box above. There are many reports about them and their unwillingness to *investigate* a dispute like they are required to by law. Few enough sue the collection agencies, hardly anyone has the courage to go up against the CRAs so this will be an exciting case to watch.

Experian is trying to ruin my life. That's an exageration, but I have had some bad experiences with them. I recently had my chase credit card, which I pay on time every month, cancelled with a reference to negative info from Experian. I was also denied credit base on negative info from Experian. I disputed and old delinquent account with all three credit bureaus. Transunion and Equifax both deleted, while Experian reported that it had been verified. That makes no sense. What is the next step if you disagree with something a credit bureau is reporting?

I too am having the same problem....Experian is saying on my credit report that I have not paid my mortgage for 3 months...what a lie!...I and the bank have sent them proof that I am up to date. Experian refuses to remove the inaccuracy...even though my other creditors have cleaned my credit up, which had a negative affect because of Experian!!! What do I do now????? Do I report this to the FTC and my Attorney General????

At that point, frustrated29, you may even have a case against Experian for this. Because they didnt follow the federally-mandated reporting guidelines, your wife suffered legitimate actual damages because she was denied credit due to their illegal reporting. I would consider speaking with an attorney on this one, to be honest.

Experian needs to be sued for their lack of attention to complaints about Ryon Gambill and Marauder.

I have sent a registered letter, RESTRICTED DELIVERY to the CEO of Experian, Donald A. Robert. He or someone close to him will have to sign for it.

I will sue them in Small Claims Court, they will get tired of showing up and defending their relationship with Gambill.

Would anyone know if I could become part of this lawsuit because they merged my credit report with someone in a different state, different name, different address, and a horrific credit history? Took about 4 calls for them to remove it and even that took over 2 months to actually happen. Any input would be appreciated.

Ryan
