daniels & norelli

i received a letter from this company at the end of december 2008, i sent a debt validation letter and in january i received a letter back stating that they were in the process of obtaining the information and that once they had the verification information it would be sent to me, and all collection action would stop until that time.....this was a debt for a credit card with orchard bank that was then passed on to some cpopompany called arrowhead financial and then on to daniels & norelli...well needless to say...it is now june and i still have not recieved validation of the debt... and to this day, i jhhave never recieved a phone call ever...or anymore letters.....I was wondering is there a time limit in which they have to send the validation of the debt to you or can they take as long as they want....should i be concerned and try to contact them or forget about it or what?
