This is my only option without doing bankruptcy...
I went onto tascsite.org and they have some members but I am not sure which I should inquire with.

Thanks!

Thanks Nascar Devil. I will look on Tasc's site to see if I can find one.

I am not sure this is even the way to go right now...I need to know more about pros/cons because I suspect the CC can sue me if a settlement is not negotiated immediately(which it wouldn't be because I need to build up more $ to pay off and time).

I am trying to figure out how to do this on my own..Try and get a hardship plan with CC companies, debt settlement, BK options too. UGH!

Thanks for your help!

If you are in the stae of South Carolina you cannot be garnished. A lien can be placed on a property such as a house though. Liens aren't very popular right now simply because the value of properties aren't that great. But lets say worst case scenario happens, a lien is placed on your property. All this means is if your property is sold the creditor that placed a lien on your property would be able to satisfy the debt once the propery was sold with the money the property was sold for. So if you don't sale the property, the creditor can't do anything.

Another place to check besides TASC, is the IAPDA, USOBA or the BBB. Many organizations certifed through TASC are not in good standing with the BBB.

I wish you best in your search for a solution that fits your needs.
