Northland and Midland Group

In regards to my first post and the letter Northland Group sent me, I mailed off my first payment to Northland on the 26 they got it on the 28. Midland has in between this time pulled back my account. They say they have not gotten a payment yet and also would not honor what Northland offered to me even though a payment was sent and they were acting on thier behalf.
Midland told me to call them back Friday.
Such a scam!
I have the letter and proff of payment and that they got the payment.
Where do I go from here? Can I report this company for doing this since I have proff of the letter and payment offer as well as payment sent by the deadline? If so to whom do I report it too. I could handle this payment and offer and Midland pulled a scam I feel along with Northland. My nerves are shot, don't know which way to turn here.

You can dispute this payment with your bank and they can get you
You can dispute this payment with your bank and they can get your money back if you sent them a check from your checking account.
But you can file a complaint with your state AG or DFI about these companies. Tell them what happened and send them copies of what you have.
