If an account is paid off, should there be nothing or 0 in the payment block on your credit report? Does it hurt your credit score if the payment is still being reported,does it matter?

If you have paid off a delinquent account, it should reflect as "paid in full" in your credit report. This "paid in full" status will stay there in your report for seven years and 180 days from the date of your delinquency. However, this will not adversely affect your score. In fact, it will have a positive impact on your credit score because it will lower your debt to credit ratio.
