When a company buys a debt that is outside SOL can they put that on your credit report. I had an old cell phone bill that fell off due to the time, and now it's back with a different company
You're confusing SOL and reporting period. Reporting period = 7
You're confusing SOL and reporting period. Reporting period = 7 years + 180 days from the Date of First Default. Cell phones fall under the UCC SOL of 3 years.
