UCL is part of MTE and pretty much illegal everywhere. What state do you live in, how much did you borrow and how much repaid?

borrowed 200 and have paid 180

They probably got you mixed up with someone else. They aren't legal anywhere (UCL), only pay them $20. because that is all you are morally obligated to pay back. No I am super peeved. They called my dad who just had open heart surgery and almost gave him another heart attack. Lost my cool and called this lady back and informed her she was an illegal lender in the state of Ky which she tried to argue with me but I was having none of that...I am ticked and they will not get another dime from me period(know you advocate paying back the principle and I only owe 20...but they are not getting it) It will be a cold day in hell before they get anything but a butt chewing from this girl

Unfortunately you can't stop them from calling your references, they are illegal and didn't follow the law to begin with. I can only tell you what I would do. I would tell my references the next time they are called by this ridiculous company to ignore them and hang up, or - if they feel spunky, tell them you are deceased. That's what I would do but that's just me, do whatever is most comfortable for you.

They will harass you and your references to death, hang up immediately, don't give them any reason to call over and over, they will tire quicker of talking to thin air than having someone to argue back.

so when they turn me over to the collection agency which is what she promised then what....they don't have a leg to stand on literally...right

UCL will threaten all kinds of things; unfortunately, as Shazzers said, you can't stop the calls, but the minute they start their spiel, just hang up. Trust me, I know from personal experience that trying to reason with them just doesn't work! They'll insist they're legal everywhere and that you're wrong.

Think cash is a legal loan, backed by the bank of Delaware.
They can and will sue you .Do nit default

these idiots called my dad told him i defaulted on the loan and that they were reporting me and going to screw my credit up and asked if he wanted to help me out and pay them. He just had open heart surgery and now I am even more peeved than before. This is the second time they have contacted him now

File a complaint with your AG, FTC, and the BBB immediately!

just filed with the FTC...now on to the BBB

so I also filed with the Oklahoma attorney general. They haven't bothered to contact me at all since all the mess last week. I only owe then $20 which they dispute but whatever. If they want their money they will contact me...if not I am not worrying with these clowns anymore

got my response back from the BBB. Their form letter stating I was using a form letter circulating about the internet that contained false and misleading information and unless I had a specific complaint about the handling of my account they felt no response was warranted. I told the BBB again they are illegal and I have that straight from the KY attorney general and KY DFI so we will see what they respond back

United cash and US fast cash have just fallen off the map. No contact...nothing. they are the only ones i have left. If they don't contact me I can't pay them.
